Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Just north of Brisbane, Queensland’s Sunshine Coast offers a relaxed, yet sophisticated lifestyle. Encompassing the coastline from Caloundra to Rainbow Beach and the lush countryside of the hinterland, the beauty of this region will captivate you.
The beaches of the Sunshine Coast are varied with gentle waves to serious surf, while idyllic coastal towns are perfect for both romantic getaways and family holidays. If you prefer a cosy holiday nestled amongst the hills and beautiful Glasshouse Mountains, then wander through the hinterland where you can browse among local delicacies at markets and fresh food stalls.
So be prepared to tempt your tastebuds in Noosa, untie your purse-strings at Eumundi Markets and bring out your inner child at Australia Zoo. You’ll soon realise that one visit to the Sunshine Coast is simply not enough.

Lol at all the …
Lol at all the fuckwits generalizing QLDers as rednecks, on the Sunshine Coast there is the odd feral around but bugger all, (as said, in Nambour haha) and out of anywhere Iv been in Aus, QLDers are the friendliest and always happy to help and have a chat, shame you ignorant wont accept it because you herd we are rednecks so are sticking to your story, and even if you lived here for a bit probably would only concentrate on a few bad people you meet because your so small minded.

To bittersweet321. …
To bittersweet321. QLD is full of rednecks, my friends have been up there and my brother has been up there. There experience was negative. You redneck whities have some racist issues to deal with. You don’t like native Aborigines, you don’t like Southern Europeans but you do like Japanese women though don’t you? Why? because they are whores?

Queensland is …
Queensland is beautiful, it is just too bad that it is full of rednecks and that it is xenophobic to boot.

I agree too, become …
I agree too, become another glitter strip like it’s sister city Gold Coast…
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
The Sunshine Coast …
The Sunshine Coast is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots this state has to offer, but I cannot stand the majority of fuckheads (particularly the beach bums) and hoons, nightclubs, youth drinking etc… tarnishing the scene. It’s becoming another fucken glitter strip like Gold Coast (Maroochy/Mooloolaba in particular). I prefer the unspoilt locations around the Moreton Bay area instead
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
i guarantee i could …
i guarantee i could show you many more spots on the coast you’ve never been. i don’t mean just beaches, but just little secrets here and there.
my bad for not picking up on your ploy.
by saying G’day i meant that everyone is willing to have a chat with a stranger.
anyway, good day
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
So, if you would …
So, if you would leave me be, it owuld be appreciated.
Good night to you.
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
I know all these …
I know all these beautiful untouched secrets of the coast, and it is easy to appreciate them, but that is not the coast, that WAS the coast. It is being destroyed with every day. I would vacate from here to a place where every bit was as beautiful as the Mountains (Maleny, Mapleton, etc.), the Buderim Forest Falls (Which I visit each and every day) and other such places.
Now, Between you and I that first comment was secretly a plot to keep fat american tourists out of my sanctuary.

Fool of a …
Fool of a Rayray2207. I clearly stated that I live in Buderim, the nicest place on the coast. I speak too everyone kindly, for that is the way I would like to be spoken to. It is all the deadbeats that is bringing this place down, and how it is becoming The Gold Coasts little brother. It sickens me. No one bloody says ‘G’day’, it is a disgusting greeting, and I am glad no one says it.
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
ha!
and where are …
ha!
and where are u from exactly?
i guarantee if you see all the places a tour guide shows you, you want get to see even a glimpse of the coasts soul
when ur a local like me and you know all of the beautiful untouched secrets of the coast. it is very easy to appreciate.
shopping is minimal, but if you wanted to do that you’d go to a city. this is place for relaxing.
i find the people here great.
maybe it’s the way you speak to people? i find theres not a person that wont say Gday round here
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
try some of the …
try some of the least touched beaches. i.e along the coolum stretch, noosa national park, kawana stretch etc.
the beaches that attract the least amount of people are always the most beautiful and the water, so so clear.
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
if only the water …
if only the water was actually liek this 0:18 to 0:24
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm

What a bunch of spoilt wankers. Aussie is the best place in the world to live…anywhere…So shut up and enjoy it.
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
I also live in …
I also live in Buderim. I have to admit, it’s the best of a bad bunch but I would certaintly like to vacate.
There sure are a lot of those which you speak of, they’re everywhere!
March 18th, 2010 at 3:43 pm

Honestly, this …
Honestly, this place is horrible.
Please do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs!
The people are rude, the shopping is minimal and the natural beauty is spoilt.
Not a nice place to be.
