Qland license is diferent to the rest to rest of Australia. SO I am just curious to as to how picky the bouncers are in Launceston?
Okay this is the funniest Q I have seen in a long time! Dude, Tassie is not another country. If you can drive in Qld then you can drive in Tassie.

If you hold a valid current Australian driver’s license from any state or territory you can use that on a temporary basis, such as temporary visits.
I know in NSW you can use your interstate license for up to 3 months, but since there are no records of when you cross state borders (like international travel) there is no real need for proof.
Amended: I just found the revelant passage in Tasmania State’s transport site. You can use your interstate license for up to 3 months.

As long as it is valid and you are not suspended then you can drive.

Launceston bouncers are no more picky than any other state. As long as you have photo id & are over 18 you shouldnt have any problems getting into clubs/pubs.
Hope you enjoy Launceston

any state license can be used in any other australian state for ID puposes.
Any australian license, passport , birth certificate is accepted australia wide as a proof of ID.
