How many motels are there in Queensland?

Hi, i’m just doing some research and trying to find out how many hotels and motels there are in Queensland.
Does anyone happen to know?

MY mum is on the board of QLD Hotel and Motel and she approximates that there are 3472. the best hotels and motels are in the northern region near Cape York and Bali. Tasmania has the best hotels though.
