Is a plant with leaves that have already turned yellow due to lack of water beyond saving?

I forgot about my little Easter Lilly out on the patio. I didn’t water it at all for God knows how long. The leaves have mostly turned yellow (from dark green) but they are not brown or crunchy or falling off yet. I immediately watered it, soaked it actually. Is the poor thing beyond help, or will the yellow leaves now fall off no matter what? I feel like a murderer.
Easter lilies go dormant after flowering anyway. Probably the worst thing you did was soak it with water, which may cause the bulb to rot. You can plant it outdoors and it will bloom next summer. Care tips here:

Hope this helps.
