I want to record some episodes of Friday Night Cranks, but I need to know a good software to record it. Does anyone know of any free software, or if not free at least any software?

I recommend PCHand Screen Recorder, it could record any activities on the screen and the audio whatever u hear. I tried a lot before bought, it’s easier to use. It also provides a free trial version. U could try it. I’m using it and it’s pretty good…Hope it could help!

By this, I mean that I am a 14 year old, who is trying to make some extra money this summer repairing other peoples computers. I would like software like Hijackthis, herins boot cd, etc., but I don’t know which software is allowed for this purpose (out of the box, not payed for). Can somebody make me a list?

Hiren’s Boot CD is a very handy tool, but it is illegal to use if you do not own licenses for each individual application. HijackThis, CCleaner, Defraggler, SmitfraudFix are examples of free of charge applications which can help you solve issues.

My father has thousands of rare books in his collection and I would like to create a database so that he can search for books, generate a list for insurance purposes, etc.

What would be the best software to create this database in? Most of his books are not contemporary and thus do not have a barcode.

I also want to ensure that the software I choose has easy options to export the data in case I need to switch software.

I am a NYC Rare book dealer an while I have my own tools, I have heard good things about AbeBook’s Free HomeBase software:

Google Docs has some free spreadsheet programs and then your list is always in the cloud and easily accessible.

I need software that I can create photo still virtual tours for real estate agents – software that will allow me to embed my finished slideshow onto my website, so that the agent can then be linked to my site to view show. I can only find photo editing software to save slideshow onto DVD, PC or email slideshow, but not software that I can do my project and then put shows onto my webpage.

Can anyone help me?
