How would you throw the best beach party?

I am planning on throwing a beach party in Wildwood Nj for spring break. What would you do to make it the best party. If you did have a beach party what did you do, and how did it go? We also want to get on a few rides at the Pier, so im trying to squeeze that in there as well. Any idea will work as long as its reasonable.

I did a beach party after I graduated. Here are some of the things I did:

1.) I didn’t have a lot of cash, so for drinks, I made up tons of pitchers of island/beach-themed drinks and just served them that way. Things like margaritas, pina coladas, bay breezes, daiquiris, etc. We also had some soda, water, lemonade, iced tea, and some beer.

2.) For food, we had lots of fresh fruit (pineapple, melon, strawberries), and then we did some homemade potato chips with old bay seasoning, some dips, potato salad, fresh veggie tray, and then burgers and hot dogs. A friend brought some crab dip later, so you can always go with the seafood theme if you want.

3.) For decorations, I got a lot of bulk seashells and starfish and things from QualityShells.com and spread them around the tables with citronella candles (it was outside). We also put out a few tiki torches and that was really it. The table cloths and plates and stuff we got real cheap from a party supply store.

Do you know a good beach destinations site?

I’m planning a beach vacation with my wife and I have a couple of places in mind.
The one thing I am sure is that I want to go to a paradise beach and my hotel has to be on the beach – probably all inclusive… I want complete relaxation.

So far I didn’t come across to a good beach destinations site… Any suggestions?

sri lanka is a nice place to travel. Because there are lots of thing and places to watch in a small island,if you gone a start from Colombo u can travel to any direction in around two,three hours by a vehicle.

If u want to shopping during you`r trip, You can buy cloths( like cloths for you`r winter season,also other cloths) very cheap in Colombo(House of fashion,odel,majick city,kandy…are few of good fashion houses in sri lanka.
If u want to buy leather works like bags, wallets,chairs… very cheap in pinnawala.
If u want to buy jems Rathnapura is the best place to buy them.

Is Atlantic city beach safe and which part is the safest?

My family and I are planning on going to Atlantic City Beaches for this summer and we want to know if it is safe to spend time there. If so, which part of the Atlantic City Beach is safe. One of my co-worker told me that only certain part of the Atlantic Beach is safe and others are run down part of black communities that you may get robbed or hurt like the Ocean city beaches. Is that true?

If you want to be safe, stay in one of the Casinos on the board walk, weekdays they are not expensive.Trump taj mahal, bally’s, showboat, Ceasars etc are just some that you can stay in.

Check the websites for prices. The beaches are safe and if you stay on the boardwalk in front of the hotels during the day and stay in the hotels at night where there are tons of things to do in the casinos besides gambling. If you want to travel from one casino to the other there is a small bus called a Jitney which takes you from one casino to another for a small price.

During the day besides the beach there is a very nice outlet mall across from Ceasars hotel , within walking distance which is fine during the day with great stores

We go there every summer and as long as you are cautious and stay in or around the casinos you should be fine.

Is there any backpackers close to the beach which is close to the airport?

We are both 15 and we are going to the beach tomorrow and I was wondering what some romantic things to on a beach are? P.S We are going on the beach mid day so sunrise and sunset watching is impossible.

I am wondering what the trends are in different European cities. What do young people wear on the beach, while walking around beach-front shops and restaurants, on the boardwalk (if they have those?) and around town in European beach cities? Thanks.

well, depends what european country you referred to. there are different styles, eg. in france(south of it) women tan topless and then when they go for a drink or eat something they would put the top or wear pareo. if you go swimming, you will very often see them topless too. in begium for example girls tan topless but not as often as in france. in italy- just a swimsuit, not too many topless. the same with adriatic or black or baltic sea.

How do I create beach waves in my hair and have it last all week and still looking fresh? My hair is naturally curly and I usually straighten it and I don’t want to have to use the curling iron on my hair everyday because I don’t want to severely damage it. roll your wet hair , make buns always… no chemical method, its natural… wherever you go or what ever you do… make hair buns!!! after weeks or months, it’ll be wavy even after you shampoo your hair:-)

How do I connect my turtle beach and my xbox to a computer monitor?

I have turtle beach px21 and I have a VGA cable that connects to my xbox 360 and samsung 23 inch led monitor. My monitor has a dvi and rgb port. I don’t know how to connect my turtle beaches though. I don’t know where to plug my red and white cord from my turtle beaches and the red and white cord from a VGA cable for my xbox 360.

You don’t need to connect the headset to the monitor at all. That’s only if you want the game sound on the monitor speakers. Since you didn’t have your XBOX connected to the monitor in the first place, then you can skip connecting the headset to the monitor and just connect it to the XBOX with the white and red RCA jacks.

How to make a cartoon girl at the beach with a beach bag on Photoshop?

My mom’s friend wanted me to make an image of a cartoon girl at the beach with a beach bag on her in Photoshop. I really need help. Do i just draw and scan the picture, and trace in illustrator? Or is there an easier way?

An easier way is to draw directly onto Photoshop using a graphics tablet but each artist is different. Some find it easier to draw on paper and scan it in onto Photoshop.

If you’re scanning a drawing onto Photoshop, you could use Photoshop’s pen tool instead of Illustrator.

But, if you’re drawing a picture and your mom wants it scale-able without destroying the pixels, you should do it in Illustrator.

What you could also do is get some reference images online and patch it all up in Photoshop but I don’t recommend this because the artist/photographer who owns the photo might not allow you to use his work for commercial use (if you’re doing something for commercial use)
