What is the worlds first beach or how long have people gone to beaches?

I need to know how long people have gone to beaches. If you can’t figure that out do you know what the worlds first beach is called?

There is no way to tell which was the first beach as beaches predate life on earth. Even if you could tell the beach would have been gone for millions of years.
As for how long people have gone to beaches that would be about the same length of time as there have been people.

Sluggy is absolutely right. As long as humans have roamed the face of the planet, we’ve gone to the beach. Of course back then I don’t think they took suntan lotion and a beach blanket.

I tried asking a travel agent this, to see if i could get to go there.

After he threw me out – he told me they had ‘no pick-nick baskets nor swim suites either,’ nor could you get ice-cream, coffee or donkey rides (a tradition in the UK). And you had to walk for miles and miles to find a ‘Public Toilet.’

Oh, as we are talking of the ‘past,’ then your question reads badly, it ought to read, ‘Where Was the worlds first…..’ etc

    Sash.
