What is the difference between a nude beach and a topless beach?

When you say nude beach do you mean that it is totally nude from top to bottom? Including lower half on man and woman? And when you say a topless beach does that mean just from waist up? Because men always have their shits off. Is this for the woman?

Topless, women don’t need to wear tops.
Nude, no one has to wear any thing.

Women on topless beaches, when going topless, tend to match that with smaller bottoms, either small brazilans or thongs.
In a similar way the men on a topless beach also wear smaller bottoms, often speedos or thongs.

Nude beaches tend to be a mixture unless it is a nude only beach, in which case people wearing anything larger than a thong are made to feel unwelcome.
