nah man, the limb thing is quite credible, I’m sure the shell shock in such a fierce battle and having a limb blown up would numb you for at least a few good minutes if not even hours (I’m sure Spielberg did his homework and based his story on sheer facts) , as to the pale faced germans, I really didn’t notice that, maybe I haven’t been paying enough attention…
