How much on average do you think a simple beach wedding costs?

I live in Alabama, Birmingham. I really want to have a beach wedding. I plan on having it somewhere in Florida seeing how it has the closest beaches. I just want it simple, being at the beach is gorgious enough in my opinion! I plan on having nice chairs, not metal ugly ones, a few ribbons, an arch, some fake flowers, don’t want em to wilt! I understand getting people down there might be a problem, gas! Im planning on getting married in April 2011.

.Depends on where you have it. I live in Fort Walton Beach, FL and there are a few beach wedding services here (Barefoot Weddings is one, for example). Use your search engine and look up some places and call or email for pricing. You’ve got great beaches from Pensacola to Panama City to work with.

Good luck and congrats!

I wanted to have a beach wedding, but I had too many people and it would have cost a fortune! I live in NJ so I wanted it in Cape May. However, I had it closer and it was cheaper. My wedding including everything cost about 15,000. When I went to calculate costs for beach weddings it was sooo much more and also more complicated. But, good luck! I would have loved to have one!

Time is on your side, especially if you’re wanting a simpler affair. I love a beach wedding (I love the beach!). I know you can have a really nice event- one at which no one will know you didn’t spend very much. The beach itself is most of the to-do, and for anything else you need (decoration, favors, place card holder, etc.) I can at least point you to a page where I know you can get the best prices on beach stuff for your wedding…..

    Best of Luck to You!
