What kind of accommodation for adults imitates university hall residences?

I’m currently living in university halls of residence, and really enjoy it here. I was wondering if there exists a similar kind of accommodation for working adults, where you have meals provided, rooms cleaned, a bar/common room for socialising, and where people are generally friendly. Basically I’d like to live in a ‘boarding school’ type accommodation when I start working – does this utopia even exist?

This situation is available to seniors and military. For the general young adult public, methinks you’d be stuck was a smaller "room & board" place. These are usually small hotels, and are hard to find, especially in good neighborhoods.

You might be walking around with a good marketing idea in your head, incidentally. I see a market for this among younger people as the economy continues to deteriorate from demographic changes.
