I have a beautiful philodendron which looks pretty healthy overall, but the leaves seem to have a couple of large irregular white stripes on the leaves. They seem almost to be an irregular but normal pattern on the leaves, but it’s hard to tell because all other phiodendron pictures online, the leaves are super green.
what’s going on with my plant?
I think it is a HEART SHAPED philodendron, I haven’t seen a vareigated variety in pictures online – is there one?
They will have "stripes" or yellow lines if near bright light. They will be a solid green if moved away from bright light. The two tone is very pretty.

It was a struggle to replace the Tungsten T3 battery. So hopefully this video would be enlightening compare with all the other videos which showed easy replacement but actually not.

I monitor what they’re eating just as I do every other day. They are allowed more things to eat since we make special items for the holidays but we never allow them to overindulge.

I have a couple of tropical foliage plants which i have kept indoor well lighted area, lately I h ave noticed that some of the leaves has turned brown. Does this mean the plant won’t survive ? Can i do something about it?
the leaves are turning brown because you are over watering the plant.stick your finger in the soil about 1/2 an inch if the soil is wet do not water or moist if the plant feels dry water and it should survive.
How much do you think it would cost to go to Queensland, Australia for like 2 weeks from Portland Oregon, United States. Queensland is a very vast states in Australia. You have to choose where to begin with. Most direct international flight to Queensland touch down in Brisbane, QLD, AU. However, with long haul flights coming from across the Pacific Ocean route. You may wanna consider to fly from PDX to LAX to SYD (stopover for couple of nights to recover from jetlag after total flying time approx 24 hours). Later you may consider to fly direct from SYD Domestic Airport with Qantas Airways or Virgin Blue or Jetstar Airways to either direct to Sunshine Coast (Where they have a very interesting Zoo, the Late Steve Irwin’s Zoo) or Gold Coast or Cairns or Townsville.
There are no direct flight from PDX to SYD or BNE. You need to fly from PDX to LAX then connecting with International Carriers flight to SYD direct with United Airlines or Qantas Airways or a transiting flights with Air New Zealand or Japan Airlines or Korean Airlines or Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines or Thai Airways or Malaysia Airlines (extra perks : You got a free stopover with the respective Transiting Airlines Country).
