What is the better value disney world holiday for a family of six?

November 28, 2009 - 12:48 pm 14 Comments

With 4 children and two adults, I am confused as to which Disney world holiday option offers better value for money; fly drive villa rental or package holiday staying in a Disney hotel.

I’d appreciate opinions from people who’ve either both option from the UK.

Thanks!

DON’T stay at Port Orleans Riverside! We stayed there last year and had an awful time! The foliage/bushes, and trees were so tall I got lost most of the time. Flooding is also an issue in some areas and bugs! Since there were 5 of us, they gave us 2 full beds with one trundle bed. It wasn’t a trundle bed -it was a 4 inch foam. They had plenty of pools but they’re small. Stay at All Star Music and get an adjoining room…it’s cheaper than a regular room at Moderate hotels. TRUST ME.

What tools and software will I need to run a succesful computer repair small business?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 2 Comments

I will be going to residential homes for on site computer repairs. Most software has a limit to how many times you can install. Will I need to purchase a liscense for installing virus software and windows software on individual computers that I work on, so that I am able to use it multiple times?

isaacfugarino, I found a huge list of computer repair shops. http://www.findcomputerrepair.com/Wyoming-Computer-Repair.html I’d try visting a few of them and see if they can help you out.

How much electricity does a tropical fish tank use?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 8 Comments

I am thinking of getting some tropical fish, but do not want to pay a huge bill for the electricity to run the heater for the tank.
How much electicity does the heater for the tank use? Would it be expensive?
I would have a medium/small tank.

Look for the electrical tag on the tank, heater and light. Multiply wattage (100W or whatever) by time used per day. Then multiply that number by the cost per Kilowatt hour (provided by your electrical company. This will give you the cost per day in cents..

note : 127 watts = .127 Kw so put watts into Kw before calculating. Obviously, multiply your cost per day by 365 to
get yearly cost. Shouldnt be more than 30$…

Energy per day = power ( watts ) x ( TIME PER DAY)

Cost per day = energy per day x cost per Kw

How do you go about removing illegal prostitutes from hotels and motels in Queensland ,sue the owner?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 1 Comment

Hotels and motels are ment for the tourist and business men not for prositution as motels through out queensland places like sunnybank and mt gravat as strife with japanese other asia and anglo saxon prostitutes working illegally in queensland .Do you think every motel can be audited to follow precedure and fined if illegal protitution is commencing on there property.Brisbane city isfull of asia prostitute another haven that threatens tourism in queensland. Fines big enough to close a motel will stop this from happening .What are your thoughts

i think they should take down the hotel sign and put up a bordello sign.the hookers arent going to dissappear, they’ll just go to someone elses neighborhood.its the oldest profession on earth, its here to stay.legalize it,regulate it,tax the hell out of it,and live with it.

How can you make indoor daffodill bulbs grow at any time of year?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 1 Comment

I have daffodill bulbs in an indoor plant pot. They just died after looking beautiful in my kitchen window. Do I have to wait a year for them to flower again or is there a way of tricking them into believing it is summer again?

In order to ‘force’ a daffodil bulb to flower indoors you have to first pot them up in a bulb pan. It could be 8" across & you can put as many bulbs in it that you can fit. Use good potting mix & water after planting. The bulbs then need to be placed in a cool area for 8-12 weeks. An old fridge would be good. Keep it above freezing, around 38 degrees. You may see some growth, but you don’t need to do anything to them. After 12 weeks, remove it to a sunny location & water it well. The yellow growth will turn green & buds should start coming up.

What is the beach temp variance from day to night? also, is the beach warmer when it rains?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 1 Comment

my friends were having a big debate, so i need some answers so they can stop arguing.. one says the temp of a beach doesnt change, on cold days or at night the beach feels warmer because your body temp is cooler, and visa versa, the other is saying that for some reason unknown to her, the beach temp raises at night and when it rains.. please help!

Apparently ‘the beach’ only variates a few degrees throughout the whole year. Its the air temp which influences our option to swim or not.

I bought some tungsten fishing weights , are there any health risks associated with tungsten ?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 2 Comments

I was wondering if there are any negative health effects that can occur as a result of tungsten.

I do not think so.
Tungsten HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Routes of Exposure: Dust, mist and/or fumes generated during physical or metallurgical treatment may be
inhaled, swallowed or come in contact with skin or eyes.
Effect of Overexposure: Dust, mist and fumes generated during physical or metallurgical treatment may
cause mild irritation of the nose and throat. With the exception of two Russian studies that found early signs of
pulmonary fibrosis in some workers exposed to tungsten trioxide, tungsten metal and tungsten carbide, most
studies have shown tungsten to be toxicologically inert. Skin and eye contact may cause irritation due to
abrasive action of the dust. Current scientific evidence indicates no adverse effects are likely from accidental
ingestion of small amounts of tungsten.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures: Applicable for pure tungsten Dust, Mist and Fumes

If leaves from a tree in your yard fall into a neighbors yard whose problem is it?

November 28, 2009 - 12:47 pm 6 Comments

If leaves from a tree in your yard fall into a next door neighbors yard. Do you have to rake them or does the neighbor?

depends on your neighbor, if they hate the tree you could be forced to trim it or work something out about raking the leaves, if they dont care they could rake the leaves themselves. Talk to them if it is a problem try working something out in some states unless there is a fence involved its considered natures problem in other states it is yours. Growing up we had a tree that shed leaves in the neigbors yard and we rked them or they raked them whoever got there first but we also didnt complain when they set up their kiddy pool in the corner of our yard and we took turns mowing the no man land between the two fences. Its best to try to get along first.

What kind of accommodation for adults imitates university hall residences?

November 26, 2009 - 6:16 am 1 Comment

I’m currently living in university halls of residence, and really enjoy it here. I was wondering if there exists a similar kind of accommodation for working adults, where you have meals provided, rooms cleaned, a bar/common room for socialising, and where people are generally friendly. Basically I’d like to live in a ‘boarding school’ type accommodation when I start working – does this utopia even exist?

This situation is available to seniors and military. For the general young adult public, methinks you’d be stuck was a smaller "room & board" place. These are usually small hotels, and are hard to find, especially in good neighborhoods.

You might be walking around with a good marketing idea in your head, incidentally. I see a market for this among younger people as the economy continues to deteriorate from demographic changes.
